What type of filter do you need if you want to keep a betta in community tank (60g)?

i currently have a powerhead filter in my tank but would love to put a siamese fighter in there but from what i have a read it would not particullary like this. Any suggestion?

    Bettas aren’t good swimmers.

    So a filter with low current would be good.
