The compability of betta fighting fish with others?

July 20th, 2009 | by admin |
Ivan B asked:

I have 5 platties, 5 bristlenose and 10 neon tetras in my tank. Will a male siamese fighter be compatible with these fish, especially platties? I have one fighter but in a seperate compartment at the moment and thinking of putting it into the big tank with all these fish.. thanks

The platties some are more aggressive than others make sure your bristlenoses have lots of hiding places so they wont fight.

The platies may nip your bettas fins so watch them carefully at first until you think everything is good.
