Is this a good mix for a 30gallon tank?

Regal_gal asked:

3 Khuli loaches, 4 neon tetras, 1 male betta (suprisily not aggresive), and 1 platy

The fighter has allready been in with neons in his old tank so he is not agresive

noor

maybe you should put 2 male platties and 1 female but other wise it sounds great!

I’d suggest changing that to 5 Kuhlis, 11 Neons, one Betta, and 2-3 MALE Platties (nothing is worse than fry without a place to go). A 30 gallon tank offers you a lot of room, and Neons, Kuhlis, and Bettas take up minimal space and produce minimal waste. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

only one platy??? maby you should add a couple of more. because there has to bee at least 2 of each fish except a bettas. but ya thats fine. and Im suprised that th betta isnt aggressive. it must just be a food fish. your lucky you have such a non aggressive fish. but ya add some moor platys.

    good fish tank.

Hey I think that the fish mix good and male Betta’s are only aggressive to other male Betta’s.

That sounds fine. Not overcrowded and you can always add a couple more later if you find that you can handle them. It’s always easier to get more than have too many!

For few more fish might suggest another neons and you still have room for few more fish might suggest another neons and rasbora hets.
